Potential Tropical Cyclone Eight just…well…didn’t live up to its potential. It’s now inland and is not expected to develop. It’s still dumping a ton of rain in eastern NC. Meanwhile, we’ve got a breezy but cool day ongoing — the high so far is just 75°!
