Showers and thunderstorms are really starting to congeal in the 17-A corridor with heavy rain and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. Watch out from Jacksonboro to Summerville to Moncks Corner in particular, with more isolated downpours around Hanahan and Awendaw.
