The week ahead: Seasonably warm start to April with a few showers at times later in the week

We’ll close March and open April on a quiet and comfortable note with plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures, especially as we head into midweek.

Monday’s temperatures will run closest to normal for this point in the year; lows in the mid-50s warm to the mid-70s in the afternoon with plenty of sunshine to be had. The 80s return Tuesday and hang around for the rest of the week, though we shouldn’t see any incursions into the 90s like we saw last week. We will see a chance for some isolated to scattered showers in the afternoons starting Wednesday, but moisture is limited. A better risk for showers exists as we get into the weekend ahead of a front, but don’t expect the rain to amount to enough to really put a dent in the ongoing drought.
