A really nice day shaping up for Thursday

/ December 9, 2020 at 9:35 PM

Mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures will make for a very nice Thursday across the Lowcountry. Expect temperatures to start out in the upper 30s to low 40s in the morning, followed by highs topping out in the mid-60s — just a touch above normal for December 10.

Friday and the weekend: Staying warm, slight shower chance on Sunday

As we get into Friday and the weekend, temperatures will remain on the warm side of normal as high pressure heads offshore. We’ll start to see some cloudiness get back into the picture on Saturday as moisture begins to increase ahead of a cold front. A few showers can’t be totally ruled out for Sunday, with the best chances in the afternoon into early Monday as the front moves through. Afterward, temperatures head back below normal as we get solidly into mid-December.
