Friday & the weekend: Quiet weather continues

/ November 13, 2025 at 9:15 PM

Quiet weather continues for Friday and the weekend as reinforcing high pressure arrives overnight. Friday will feel a touch cooler than Thursday did, with winds going back around to the north in the wake of a dry cold front. Lows Friday bottom out in the mid-40s, with highs peaking in the upper 60s in the afternoon under uninterrupted sunshine.

High pressure will continue building in overhead over the weekend, and temperatures will head above normal in response. We’ll start Saturday in the mid-40s, but warm to the mid-70s in the afternoon with just a few clouds from time to time. Sunday will start out almost 10° warmer as we start to see a little higher-dewpoint air work its way into the area, with lows in the mid-50s expected. We’ll warm to the mid-70s once again with some clouds from time to time ahead of a cold front, but models keep this as a dry frontal passage with meager moisture at best. Rain chances remain quite sparse through at least next Thursday.
